Pause at the confirmation window and verify exactly what will be replenished. Evony's Version 5.17.0 notes that a confirmation pop-up was added to Replenish All in Gear Quick Compose specifically to help prevent accidental actions. That warning is a control point, not decoration. Official source: Version 5.17.0 update.
Prepare before opening Quick Compose
Choose one equipment objective and write the required endpoint. Record current component quantities and reserve amounts for other projects. Quick composition is dangerous when “available” materials include items mentally assigned elsewhere.
Read the confirmation as a transaction
Verify the target
Confirm gear family, level and quantity. A correct material calculation for the wrong piece is still a bad transaction.
Verify the shortage path
Identify which components the system proposes to replenish and what resources or items that action consumes. Do not assume every missing tier is handled identically.
Verify the remainder
Calculate what stays after confirmation. The remaining stock must still satisfy protected projects.
Practical stop rule
Cancel when any line is unfamiliar, when the remainder falls below reserve, or when the target is not immediately needed. Reopen the interface after checking the relevant inventory rather than confirming from momentum.
Equipment checklist
- Correct gear piece selected.
- Correct quantity selected.
- Replenished component list understood.
- Protected material reserve survives.
- Confirmation screenshot captured for a large action.
- Inventory reconciled afterward.
Common mistakes
- Treating Replenish All as “compose only what I already have.”
- Ignoring lower-tier materials consumed by the chain.
- Composing several future pieces without a build order.
- Clicking through the confirmation because it looks routine.
FAQs
Why did Evony add a confirmation pop-up?
The official update says it helps prevent accidental Replenish All actions.
Does the update publish every material cost?
No. Read the current interface for the actual transaction.
Should I always use Quick Compose?
No. Use it when the endpoint and material chain are understood; manual steps can be clearer for a small or uncertain job.
Can RSS replace special equipment materials?
No. Ordinary resources do not substitute for every named equipment component.
