Evony Throne Bubble: Verify the State Before Your Alliance Commits

Alliance officers pass a sealed command baton over a contested throne map

A visible bubble is not always reliable evidence that a throne occupant is protected. Evony's official FAQ says occupants cannot use Truce Agreement while occupying the City of Throne, Throne Tower, Hero Tower or Magic Tower during Server War. It also explains that cached visuals may still show a bubble, and a former occupant who transferred the throne can remain bubbled because they no longer have troops there. Official source: Evony FAQ.

Use a two-source check

Before calling an alliance march, compare the visible bubble with occupation details and the current occupant identity. Refresh the map or reopen the target panel. A single stale visual should not drive the decision.

Alliance verification procedure

Observer

Record the occupant name, structure, timestamp and visible state. Refresh once and report any change.

Caller

Confirm whether the name matches the alliance's previous observation. If the throne was transferred, separate the former occupant from the current one.

March lead

Do not launch merely to test a visual. Review scout information, rally objective, timing and the alliance's loss tolerance.

Practical example

If Player A appears bubbled after a transfer but the occupation panel names Player B, the official FAQ provides a plausible explanation: Player A may have retained a bubble because their troops are no longer occupying the throne. Target assessment must follow the current occupant, not the old map image.

Common mistakes

  • Calling the state a bug without refreshing.
  • Treating the former occupant as the current defender.
  • Launching a rally solely because the bubble icon changed.
  • Sharing a screenshot without a timestamp or structure name.

FAQs

Can a current throne occupant normally use a Truce Agreement?

The official FAQ says no during Server War for the named throne structures.

Why can a bubble still be visible?

The FAQ identifies cached display data as one cause.

Can throne transfer explain a bubbled player?

Yes. The former occupant may still be bubbled if they no longer sent troops to the throne.

Is refreshing enough to decide an attack?

No. It verifies presentation only; normal combat and alliance checks still apply.
